About Sharing Wheels
Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop is a non-profit organization located in Everett, WA. Started in 2002 by a small band of bike enthusiasts, Sharing Wheels has provided refurbished used bicycles to thousands of adults and children through our programs and bike sales.
What’s a Community Bike Shop?
The tools and bike stands at Sharing Wheels are available for anyone to use during open shop hours. People come in to fix their own bikes, often getting a little guidance from more experienced Sharing Wheels volunteers.
Low-income people, DIY-tinkerers, and basic bike geeks all benefit from our open community bike shop policy.
Board of Directors
As a 501(c)3, we have a board of directors whose job is to set the vision and direction for the shop. The current board was elected in mid-2018 and will serve until the end of 2019.
The board meets each month in Everett. Board meetings are open to anyone who wants to attend. Contact us for details.
