Work for Wheels
Our work-trade program “Work for Wheels” allows people to volunteer time at the shop in exchange for credit towards labor on bike repairs, used parts or accessories. Program is intended for individuals who cannot otherwise afford to purchase repairs, parts, or a bicycle. Learn more about Work for Wheels.
Mobile Bike Repair
It can be hard to get a broken bike to the shop. We began our mobile bike repair program in 2021 to bring repairs to people where they live, work or congregate. Our 2022 outreach is funded by a generous grant from the Larson Family Foundation.
If you are a nonprofit partner who’d like to schedule a bike repair clinic at your site, please contact us.
Our Community Bike Program is for low income teens and adults referred to us by other agencies or shop staff. Participants must apply and complete a series of steps to earn a refurbished bike for use as personal transportation (and fun, too). Learn more about our Community Bike program.
