Basic Bike Maintenance
6 – 9 P.M. Wednesday – Oct 13 (full), Nov 10(full) or Dec 8
Learn the basics every bike owner should know. This 3-hour class includes: how to fix a flat, chain care, adjusting gears and brakes, and identifying when to take your bike into a bike shop. This class will keep your bike rolling, making your riding more enjoyable. Bring your bike or practice on one of ours in this hands-on class.

Bike Buying Tips: Fit, Style, Price
5-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20 via Zoom
Thinking of buying a bike (or repairing the one you have)? There are a lot of choices out there! A bike you will love to ride fits not just your height, but also your style and planned use.
Do you want to bike to the grocery store, stick to the Centennial Trail or bomb down a mountain trail?
Learn about the types of bikes and gear available and how to pick a bike that fits you – your size, style, and riding preferences. We’ll also cover how to assess a new or used bike for value and price.
Cost: Free. Suggested donation $5-$10.
Registration: Sign-up in advance for Zoom link. Online access with a phone, tablet or laptop is needed.

Fix A Flat Class
Noon-1 P.M. 2nd Sundays
Tired of paying a bike shop to fix your flat? Don’t let a punctured tire prevent you from enjoying your bike rides in 2021. For less than an hour plus an optional donation, we will teach you all you need to know to fix a flat, plus answer other basic maintenance questions.
Cost: $5 suggested donation.

Advanced Bike Mechanics

This 4-part class is for those who want to get into the heart and soul of their bike. Learn the terms for parts of the bike and how to evaluate their condition. Learn about the bearing systems and how to overhaul them. Demystify the cable systems and get your machine running smoothly. Over the course of four classes you will complete a full overhaul and tune on your bicycle. Bring your own bike or use one of ours.
Cost: $120 (plus parts if needed).
