Interested in getting the right bike or learning to repair your ride, taught by our staff? Auriea, Andrew, and Eric (above l to r) will be happy to help you get your bike rolling, so check out our offerings below! All in-person bike repair & maintenance classes are held in the shop.

Basic Bike Maintenance

6pm – 9pm on Second & Fourth Wednesdays

Learn the basics of bike repair every bike owner should know. This 3-hour class includes: how to fix a flat, chain care, adjusting gears and brakes, and identifying when to take your bike into a bike shop. This class will keep your bike rolling, making your riding more enjoyable. Note: These classes fill up quickly!

It’s best to bring your own bike to learn on in this hands-on class (our classic bikes are also available for practice). All in-person bike repair & maintenance classes are at the shop (our hours & location).

  • Location: In-person at the shop
  • Cost: $35. Advanced registration is required. Register below.
  • Class Size: Maximum 4 students (minimum 2). If class minimum is not met, the class will be rescheduled. See Cancellation Policy below

Fix-a-Flat Hands-on Workshop

Noon-1pm on Second Sundays

Tired of paying a bike shop to fix your flat? Don’t let a punctured tire prevent you from enjoying your bike rides. For less than an hour plus an optional donation, we will teach you all you need to know to fix a flat, plus answer other basic maintenance questions.

  • Location: In-person at the shop
  • Cost: Free. $10 donation appreciated.
  • Class Size: Limited

Bearings: Keep ’em rolling and turning!

In this 2-hour class you will learn how to check all the bearings on your bicycle to ensure a smooth ride. Why work harder than you have to? We will teach you how to easily adjust or replace your bearings.

  • Location: In-person at the shop
  • Cost: $35
  • Class Size: Limited to 3 students.

Advanced Bike Mechanics (up to 4 sessions)

This 2 to 4-part class is for those who want to get into the heart and soul of their bike. Learn the terms for parts of the bike and how to evaluate their condition. Learn about the bearing systems and how to overhaul them. Demystify the cable systems and get your machine running smoothly. Over the course of two to four classes (depending how deep you want to go) you will complete a full overhaul and tune on your bicycle. Bring your own bike or use one of ours.

  • Location: In-person at the shop
  • Cost: $120 (plus parts if needed)
  • Class Size: Limited to 3 students.

Class Cancellation, Refund Policy

Registered students may request a refund provided they notify us at least 1 week prior to the start of class.

You can transfer a registration to a later date or request a refund if a class is canceled or rescheduled.
