Grads Bike Ride

Friday July 10, 3-5pm

REGISTRATION CLOSED on July 8th.

Families are responsible for how youth get to and from Sharing Wheels, 2531 Broadway, Everett – bike, car, transit.

Youth meet at Sharing Wheels no later than 3 p.m. Friday. We’ll gather in the classroom with bikes in the hallway.

Arrive early if your bike needs minor mechanical help – such as flat tire fix, gear adjustment, etc. Check in at shop after 2:30 p.m.

What to bring:

Working bicycle – if it needs fixing, arrive early
Helmet
Close-toed shoes – no sandals or Crocs
Good attitude – ready to meet new friends and ride safely in a group
Locks optional – but always good to have

What to expect:

We’ll get acquainted with our new group of grads – students who have been part of Youth Bike Club for the past two years.
ABCD quick check, and a quick game and practice ride to get in the groove.
Ride north to Wiggums Hollow Park (and a stop at the playground?) then back south to pick out ice cream bars (paid for by Sharing Wheels supporters).
We’ll eat our ice cream bars while watching the Everett Performance Omnium bike race speed through the Riverside neighborhood.
We’ll ride back to Sharing Wheels by 5 p.m. for youth to return home from there.

This ride is for registered Youth Bike Club graduates ONLY, led by our friendly Youth Program team.

For all youth events, a digital registration and liability form must be completed by a parent or guardian.
