Remember that feeling of joy when you got your very own bicycle? Kids still love to ride bikes and Sharing Wheels volunteers help make that happen.
Each year we have a goal of refurbishing 150+ bikes for low-income families. Kid bikes aren’t complicated to fix, but they do need a lot of TLC.

Kid Bike Repair parties are a great way to practice or learn basic bike mechanics. Tasks range from cleaning bikes and fixing flats to replacing cables or adjusting hubs.
6pm to 9pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 7 through December 2. No work parties on November 11 (Veterans Day), November 18, and November 27 (Thanksgiving). Size is limited to 8 volunteers each session. Advanced registration is required.
You do NOT need to fill out our volunteer form in order to volunteer at a work party. Just click the button below!!
Signup for the night (or several nights) you can help. We LOVE repeat volunteers!

Support our Kids Bike Program
Bike donations
If you have an unused kid bike sitting in the garage or shed, consider donating it to us! We’ll refurbish it and get it to one of our community partner and get it to a child in need this holiday season!!
Donate cash
We put about $25 in new parts on each bike to make it safe and shiny for the kids. That adds up to thousands of dollars in tires, seats, handlebar grips, etc.
Thanks to Our Sponsors
